Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Windsor, Ontario, Canada!

Windsor -- among Canada's southernmost communities -- ranks second only to Toronto as a major Ontario commercial center. From Detroit, Windsor often becomes a side trip-attraction, either over the Detroit River via the Ambassador Bridge, or through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. For many years, part of Windsor was known as Ford City, and Windsor remains closely tied to automotive industry machinations. Windsor attractions include museums focusing on the War of 1812 and the Underground Railway, and Windsor's Serbian Heritage Museum takes a look at the achievements of Serbian-Canadians. The Windsor Wood Craving Museum showcases traditional, contemporary, and historic wildlife carvings. Other attractions range from Casino Windsor, offering 24-hour gaming action with tables and slots, to Colasanti's Tropical Gardens, featuring exotic birds, flowers, and domestic animals all under one roof. Devonshire Mall, Windsor's largest shopping center, has more than 175 merchants including Sears and Autobahn. Nightlife hops at places like the Euro-style Berlin Lounge, Club Meow, Dante's Dance Bar, and the Aar'd'vark Blues Café. Restaurant cuisines range from American to Vietnamese, with favorites including the garlic-friendly Bubi's Awesome Eats and the Blue Danube Restaurant & Lounge, with authentic Hungarian dishes. Not viewable from Stateside, Detroit's skyline can be impressive from Windsor's Central Riverfront Park, especially after dark.
